What it is
The Vokera 7281 is a silicone tube supplied for use in Vokera gas boilers. It forms part of the internal tubing runs within the appliance and is listed against a number of Vokera Mynute, Excell, Maxin and Turbo models. Silicone is specified for these runs because it tolerates the heat and movement found inside a boiler casing.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The tube has hardened or gone brittle with heat ageing
- Visible cracking, splitting or perishing along its length
- Discolouration or a glazed, shiny surface where it has overheated
- The tube has stretched, kinked or pulled away at a connection point
- Weeping or staining at the point where the tube joins its fitting
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above before ordering
- On Excell models, check whether your appliance has new or old hydraulics
- Compare the part number on the existing tube with 7281 where it is still legible
- Check the tube's routing and connections on your appliance so the replacement is fitted the same way
