What it is
The Elson Pump PWM Connector 2M is a two-metre wiring lead that carries the pulse-width modulation (PWM) control signal between the appliance's control board and the circulating pump. It is supplied by Elson for use on Elson water heaters. The connector allows the pump speed to be modulated rather than run at a fixed rate.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pump runs at a fixed speed and does not modulate with demand
- Intermittent pump operation or the pump failing to start
- Pump-related fault codes or lockout messages on the appliance
- Visible damage to the lead, such as a frayed cable, cracked plug or corroded pins
