What it is
The Baxi 7223450 is a hydraulic group assembly used in Baxi Main Eco System boilers. It forms the water-side section of the appliance, carrying the diverter valve and the associated hydraulic components that switch the boiler between domestic hot water and central heating operation. It is supplied as a complete assembly rather than as individual internal parts.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No domestic hot water while the central heating continues to run normally
- Radiators warming when only a hot water tap is open
- Hot water running cold or cycling between hot and cold at the tap
- Diverter valve failing to move, or the actuator running without changing the water path
- Water weeping from the hydraulic block or from the joints around the assembly

- Check the existing part number on the boiler before ordering, particularly if the appliance has been worked on previously
- Note that 7216624 and 1132117 are also used to identify this assembly
