What it is
The Baxi 7223382 is the controls cover for Baxi Platinum combi boilers, listed by the manufacturer as a casing assembly. It forms the outer face over the control panel area, shielding the user controls and the electronics behind them from dust, knocks and accidental contact. The cover is supplied as a single casing component and is matched to the Platinum combi chassis.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The cover is cracked, split or broken, leaving the control area exposed.
- The cover no longer sits flush against the casing or will not clip or fix securely.
- Discolouration, warping or heat marking around the control panel opening.
- Damage found during a service or repair, where the cover has been knocked or over-tightened.
- Missing fixings or a loose cover that rattles in use.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance GC number and, where relevant, the serial number before ordering, as some Platinum ErP models are listed by serial number ending AC or BC.
- Check the compatibility list against the exact model and GC number of the boiler on site.
- The alternative number 1119819 may be shown on some listings in place of 7223382.
