What it is

The Baxi 7216600 is a condensate siphon used in Baxi's Main Eco Combi range of gas boilers. It forms part of the condensate removal path, collecting the acidic water produced during combustion and discharging it in controlled amounts to the drain. A working siphon keeps the condensate route sealed and free-flowing, which in turn supports steady combustion and reliable boiler operation.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water pooling under the boiler or around the condensate trap area
  • Gurgling, dripping or bubbling noises from the condensate route during operation
  • Condensate backing up in the trap or flue, or the trap failing to hold its water seal
  • Boiler lockout or a fault code linked to condensate drainage
  • Visible cracking, discolouration or heavy scale build-up on the siphon body

Before you order

  • Check the GC number on the appliance data badge against the compatibility list before ordering.
  • Older stock may carry the alternative number 1132083; this identifies the same siphon.
  • Inspect the trap seals and gaskets while the siphon is removed and renew any that are worn or hardened.
  • This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
