Baxi Gas Air Supply Adapter 60 7216598

The Baxi 7216598 is a gas/air supply adapter rated at 60, supplied as part of the flue assembly range for Baxi and Main Eco Combi appliances. It forms the connection between the appliance's combustion circuit and the flue system, carrying the air intake path and the flue gas route through the boiler casing. Because it sits on the combustion side of the appliance, it is classed as a gas-carrying component and must be fitted and checked by a competent, Gas Safe registered engineer.

• Visible corrosion, cracking or distortion on the adapter body or its sealing faces.
• Flue gas readings outside the expected range during combustion analysis, or difficulty achieving a stable reading at the test point.
• Signs of leakage or staining around the flue connection where the adapter meets the appliance.
• Boiler lockout or ignition faults that persist after the flue and air path have been checked.
• Deteriorated seals or gaskets at the adapter joint that will not seat correctly when reassembled.

• Check the appliance GC number and model against the compatibility list, as the same appliance family can use different flue components across build variants.
• Confirm the part number on the existing component or in the appliance documentation; the alternative number 1132082 may be marked on older stock.
• Inspect the seals and gaskets at the flue joint and replace them if they are compressed, perished or damaged.
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
