What it is

The Baxi 7212448 is a six-element gas burner used in Baxi Ecoblue Advance Combi and Ecoblue System boilers. It distributes the gas/air mixture across the combustion chamber so the appliance burns cleanly and evenly. It is a serviceable combustion component, fitted by a competent engineer.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Yellow or lifting flame instead of a steady blue flame
  • Sooting or blackening around the burner surface or combustion chamber
  • Rising CO readings or a combustion analysis outside the appliance's stated limits
  • Visible cracking, distortion or corrosion of the burner body or elements
  • Rough ignition, flame instability or repeated lockouts traced to the burner

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above before ordering
  • Check the existing burner's element count and part number match 7212448
