What it is

The Potterton timer blanking kit 721016601 is a white cover for the timer aperture on the boiler fascia. It is used on Potterton Titanium gas boilers where a mechanical timer or programmer is not fitted. The kit is supplied by Potterton as part of the Titanium spares range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The timer aperture on the fascia is left open with no cover fitted
  • The existing blanking plate is cracked, broken or missing
  • The blanking plate no longer seats or clips securely and can be dislodged
  • The cover is discoloured or visibly damaged

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler is a Potterton Titanium 24, 28, 33 or 40
  • Check the part number 721016601 against the existing blanking plate or the aperture to be covered
  • Confirm the appliance does not have a mechanical timer or programmer fitted that requires the aperture
