What it is
The Baxi 720783801 is a heat exchanger assembly, designated 6E and rated 40kW, for Baxi gas boilers. It is the component in which the boiler's burner heat is transferred to the central heating and domestic hot water circuits.
Before you order
- Check the boiler model and serial number against the fit list above, paying particular attention to the serial number range for the Potterton Promax Ultra 40 Combi ErP models.
- Confirm the boiler is a 40kW unit and the fuel type (natural gas or LPG) where the fit list distinguishes between them.
- Isolate the boiler from the electrical supply and gas supply, and allow the system to cool, before any work on the heat exchanger.
