What it is
A Baxi feather key, supplied under part number 720499301 and sized 6 x 6 x 28. It is a small parallel key used to lock a shaft and its mating hub against relative rotation on Baxi heating appliances and associated mechanical assemblies. As a consumable item, it is listed by the manufacturer as a standalone part rather than being tied to a specific appliance fitment.
Before you order
- Confirm the shaft and hub keyway dimensions match 6 x 6 x 28 before fitting.
- Check the part number 720499301 against the appliance's parts list or the existing key.
- Inspect the keyway and shaft for wear or burring, as a damaged seat can cause a new key to work loose.
- Note that this is a consumable item and is not listed against a specific appliance fitment.
