What it is
The Baxi 720493701 is a manually operated bleeder with a 1/2" connection, manufactured by Baxi. It is opened by hand to release trapped air from a heating system at the point where it is installed. Because operation is manual, air is vented only when the bleeder is turned, not continuously.
Before you order
- Confirm the 1/2" connection matches the thread at the point being bled.
- Check the part number 720493701 against the existing component or the appliance documentation.
- Decide whether manual venting is suitable for the location, or whether continuous automatic venting is required.
- Confirm access to the bleeder once fitted, as it must be reachable to operate by hand.
