What it is
The Baxi 720486001 is a cover door safety switch supplied under Baxi part number 720486001. It is the switch component associated with the cover door, monitoring the door's position as part of the appliance's safety arrangement. The switch is ordered by part number rather than by appliance model.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 720486001 against the marking on the existing switch or the appliance's own parts documentation.
- Have the appliance model and serial number to hand so the switch can be cross-checked against the manufacturer's literature.
- Check the cover door itself for damage or misalignment before fitting, as the switch only reads the door position it is presented with.
