What it is
The lower front outer case panel for Main gas boilers, supplied under part number 720440701. It forms the lower section of the appliance outer casing, closing off the front of the boiler below the main facia. It is a cosmetic and protective casing component rather than a functional gas or water part.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible dents, creases or distortion in the lower front panel
- Corrosion, rust staining or blistering paint on the panel surface
- The panel no longer sits flush or clips securely to the casing
- Rattle or movement from a loose or damaged lower front panel
- Heat discolouration or scorching on the panel face
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model against the fitment list above
- Check the serial number prefix or suffix shown on the appliance data badge
- Verify the part number 720440701 matches the panel currently fitted
- Confirm the panel required is the lower front outer case section, not the upper facia
