What it is

The Baxi Safety Bracket Socket is a mounting component that secures the safety bracket within the appliance assembly. It is manufactured by Baxi and supplied under part number 720404201. The socket locates and holds the bracket so the safety device stays correctly positioned during operation and servicing.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The bracket no longer sits firmly in the socket and can be moved by hand
  • Cracking, distortion or corrosion visible on the socket body
  • The socket has been damaged or dislodged during previous servicing
  • The bracket works loose after the appliance has been running

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list before ordering
  • Check the alternative number 1132495 against any documentation you hold for the appliance
  • Inspect the bracket itself at the same time, as a worn bracket can damage a new socket
