What it is
The Baxi 720140001 is a flue connector supplied by Baxi for use on the Bermuda BBU 15 HE appliance. It forms part of the flue assembly, connecting the appliance flue outlet to the flue run so that products of combustion are carried safely away. It is a serviceable flue component rather than a combustion or control part.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, pitting or perforation on the connector body
- Condensate staining, damp patches or water tracking around the flue joint
- A damaged, hardened or missing sealing gasket at the connector
- Discolouration or sooting at the joint suggesting leakage
- Physical distortion or cracking of the connector
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is the Baxi Bermuda BBU 15 HE
- Check the existing connector against the part number 720140001
- Inspect the surrounding flue sections and seals, as these may also need attention
- Confirm whether the flue joint requires a replacement gasket or seal before fitting
