What it is

Signs this part needs replacing
- Water or condensate weeping from around the sump body or its joints
- Visible cracks, distortion or brittle plastic on the sump
- Condensate failing to drain away, causing pooling in the sump
- Scale, sludge or corrosion debris building up inside the sump
- Boiler locking out or faulting where a blocked or leaking sump is identified as the cause
