What it is
The Baxi Kit Ignitors Assembly, part number 720126501, is an ignition component supplied for the Baxi Bermuda BBU 15 HE appliance. It forms part of the boiler's ignition unit, providing the spark that lights the gas at the burner. The assembly is supplied as a kit rather than as individual ignition parts.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to light and goes to lockout on a call for heat
- No spark is visible or audible at the burner during ignition
- Ignition is intermittent, with the boiler lighting only after repeated attempts
- Visible damage, cracking or carbon tracking on the ignitor assembly or its leads
- Repeated lockouts that clear after a reset but return on the next demand
