What it is
The Baxi air pressure switch, part number 720011401, is a safety device fitted to Baxi Solo 3 boilers. It senses the pressure created by the combustion fan and passes that signal to the appliance's printed circuit board, which checks the switch is working before allowing the boiler to fire. If the fan stops or the pressure signal is lost, the switch prevents the boiler from starting, so unburnt gas and flue products cannot build up inside the appliance.
