The Baxi 711509200 is a spark detection electrode used in the ignition and flame-monitoring circuit of Baxi and Potterton commercial boilers. Mounted at the burner, it produces the ignition spark and returns the flame signal to the control board. It sits in the Electrodes & Ignitions spare part group and is used across the Quinta Ace S commercial range and Potterton Commercial appliances.

- The boiler fails to light and locks out during the ignition sequence
- No spark is visible at the burner when the ignition cycle runs
- Repeated lockouts that clear on reset but return on the next heat demand
- Cracking, erosion or carbon tracking on the electrode tip or ceramic insulator
- Flame signal is lost shortly after ignition, causing the burner to drop out
