What it is

The Buderus power switch (part 7100384) is an electrical switch used in the control circuit of Buderus oil boilers. It is supplied as a pack of five, which suits engineers servicing several appliances or keeping stock on the van. The switch forms part of the boiler's controls, sitting in the Oil Boiler Spares range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to power up or does not respond when the switch is operated
  • The switch feels loose, does not latch positively, or operates intermittently
  • Visible scorching, discolouration or arcing marks around the switch body or terminals
  • Power to the boiler cuts in and out without any change to the settings

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model against the fit list above before ordering
  • Check the existing switch for any damage to the terminals or wiring before removal
  • Isolate the electrical supply to the appliance before any inspection or replacement work
  • Note that this item is supplied as a pack of five, so confirm the quantity required
