What it is
The Worcester Bosch 7099949 Safety Valve 3 Bar is a pressure relief valve for the heating circuit of compatible Worcester Bosch and Buderus boilers. It is classed as a pressure relief valve, and its role is to open and release water if the system pressure rises above its 3 bar setting, protecting the boiler and pipework from overpressure.
Before you order
- Check your boiler model and output against the fitment list above, as several models are listed by both Worcester Greenstar and Buderus names.
- Confirm the 3 bar rating matches the requirement for your appliance and system.
- Check the boiler's installation manual or data badge if you are unsure which valve is fitted.
