What it is

The Buderus Condensate Collector is a condensate trap and collection component used on Buderus 500 and 600 series gas boilers. It gathers the acidic condensate produced during combustion and holds it before it is discharged to the drainage system. The part is supplied under Buderus part number 7099452.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water pooling around the boiler base or beneath the casing
  • Visible cracks, splits or distortion in the collector body
  • Condensate leaking from the trap or its sealing faces
  • Overflow or backing-up of condensate instead of draining away
  • Persistent odour from trapped or escaping condensate

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model matches one of the models listed in the Fits section
  • Check the existing collector and its connections for damage before removal
  • Verify the part number 7099452 against the component being replaced
  • Have suitable seals and drainage connections to hand for refitting
