The SEALING CASING is a Buderus casing gasket, part number 7098798. It seals the casing joint on Buderus oil boiler appliances, closing the gap between mating casing faces to contain heat and combustion products within the appliance. It is a service item that is renewed whenever the casing is opened for inspection or repair.
