What it is

The Heatrae Sadia 7034214 is a flat gasket measuring 94.1mm outer diameter, 69mm inner diameter and 3mm thick. It is used in Heatrae Sadia FBM ECO and R PLUS water heaters to form a watertight seal at a mating joint. The gasket compresses between the two faces to stop water escaping.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeping or dripping from the joint the gasket seals
  • Visible cracking, hardening or perishing of the gasket material
  • The gasket is flattened or deformed and no longer sits proud of the joint face
  • Scale or corrosion deposits on the gasket or the faces it seals against
