What it is
The Potterton 696111 is a fan gasket listed for the SGB 215-300 series of gas boilers. It sits at the fan mounting joint and provides the seal between the fan assembly and the surface it bolts to. The gasket is a service item, so it is handled as a consumable and renewed when the fan is removed or refitted.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 696111 matches the number shown in the boiler's installation or service documentation.
- Check the appliance model falls within the SGB 215-300 series stated in the product name.
- Inspect the old gasket before removal so the profile and bolt-hole positions can be compared with the new item on arrival.
- Order any other seals or gaskets required for the same job at the same time, since the fan will already be disturbed.
