What it is
The Vokera 6903 is a capillary tube securing screw, supplied as a special-pattern fixing. It is used to secure the capillary tube within the appliance, holding the sensing line in its correct position. It is listed by Vokera for use across a number of gas boiler models in the Mynute, Linea, Syntesi, Synergy, Pinnacle, Excell, Eclipse, Hydra and Sabre ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The screw is missing, leaving the capillary tube unsecured
- The screw head is rounded or chewed, preventing correct tightening
- The thread is stripped or the screw will not hold torque
- Corrosion or scale on the screw body
- The capillary tube has shifted from its correct position in service
