What it is

The Vokera O-Ring 6895 is a sealing component used on Vokera gas boilers, including the Linea, Linea MAX SE, Excell and Eclipse ranges. It is supplied as a pack of five. The O-ring seals a joint within the appliance's water or hydraulic circuit, preventing weeping and loss of pressure at the connection.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible weeping or a damp trace around the joint the O-ring seals
  • A pressure drop in the boiler circuit that cannot be traced to another component
  • The O-ring has hardened, flattened or cracked with age and heat cycling
  • The O-ring is cut, nicked or stretched when the joint is disturbed
  • Scale or debris has embedded in the seal face, preventing a clean seal

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model and, where applicable, the hydraulic variant, as the Excell 80SP and 80E are listed under both new and old hydraulics
  • Check the serial number prefix on Linea 24 and Linea 28 models to identify Mk1 or Mk2
  • Confirm how many O-rings the joint requires before fitting, as the pack contains five
  • Inspect the mating faces for corrosion or scoring, which will need addressing before a new O-ring is fitted
