What it is

The Vokera 6872 is a rubber flow diaphragm used in the diverter valve assembly of Vokera gas boilers. It responds to water flow when a hot tap is opened, allowing the diverter valve to move between central heating and domestic hot water operation. It is fitted across the Vokera Excell, Linea and Eclipse boiler families.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • No hot water, or hot water only available when the central heating is running
  • Boiler does not switch to domestic hot water when a tap is opened
  • Diverter valve sticking or failing to move between heating and hot water
  • Reduced or inconsistent hot water flow
  • Water weeping from the diverter valve area, or a perished or split diaphragm on inspection
