What it is

The Buderus 67900538 is a safety valve supplied for Buderus oil boiler applications. It is listed under the reference 112-60 and sits in the pressure relief and safety valve group for oil boiler spares. The valve relieves excess pressure from the appliance or system before it reaches a level the boiler components cannot safely contain.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water or oil weeping from the valve body or outlet while the system is below its set pressure
  • Continuous discharge from the valve outlet with the system running normally
  • System pressure climbing above the normal operating range despite correct filling
  • Valve failing to reseat after it has opened
  • Visible corrosion, scale or debris around the valve seat or outlet

Before you order

  • Confirm the valve rating and connection size match the valve fitted to the appliance
  • Check the appliance model against the fitment list
  • Note the listed reference 112-60 when comparing against the part fitted
  • Confirm the valve is suitable for the system type and medium in use
