What it is
The Fluidmaster side entry 1/2 inch adjustable airgap fill valve is a plastic fill valve that controls the refill of a cistern or storage tank through a side entry inlet. It uses an airgap arrangement, so the incoming water discharges across a physical air gap rather than sitting in direct contact with the stored water. Adjustment on the valve allows the operating level to be set to suit the installation, and the body is manufactured in plastic.
Before you order
- Confirm the inlet connection is 1/2 inch and that a side entry valve suits the cistern or tank being worked on.
- Check there is enough room inside the cistern for the valve body and for the adjustment range to be set.
- Confirm the existing installation uses an airgap fill valve, as the discharge arrangement differs from a standard fill valve.
