What it is

The Potterton cleaning cover is a service component for Potterton Commercial Paramount gas boilers. It is supplied for the 95 kW and 115 kW output versions of the range and is fitted as part of the boiler's cleaning and access arrangement. The part carries the manufacturer reference 656023.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The cover is cracked, distorted or has lost its shape after repeated removal during servicing.
  • Fixings, clips or mounting points on the cover are broken or no longer hold it securely.
  • The cover will not seat correctly, leaving the cleaning access area exposed.
  • Signs of heat damage, corrosion or sooting on the cover surface.
  • The cover gasket or sealing face is damaged, allowing leakage around the cleaning aperture.

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model is a Potterton Commercial Paramount TWO, Three, FOUR or FIVE.
  • Check the boiler output is 95 kW or 115 kW.
  • Verify the existing cover's part reference against 656023 before ordering.
  • Inspect the surrounding fixings and sealing face so any other worn parts can be replaced at the same time.
