What it is
The INJECTOR NG is a gas injector from Potterton, intended for the manufacturer's commercial boiler range. It meters gas into the burner at the rate required for a 115 kW appliance. It is catalogued as a Potterton Commercial spare.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Combustion readings drift outside the values given in the appliance instructions and cannot be corrected by adjustment
- The gas rate measured at the meter does not match the figure stated for the boiler
- Flame lift, light-back, or an uneven burner flame that persists after servicing
- Soot, debris, or visible damage at the injector orifice
- Repeated ignition lockouts once gas supply pressure and the rest of the gas train have been checked
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and that the appliance is the 115 kW version, as this injector is specified for that output
- Compare the existing injector marking against the appliance data plate and installation instructions
- Rule out gas supply pressure faults, restricted pipework, or blockage upstream before replacing the injector
