What it is
The INNER ASSEMBLY - SHORT HEAD is an Ecoflam firing head assembly for the Maior range of boiler burners. It forms the inner combustion head section of the burner, sitting at the point where fuel and air are mixed and the flame is established. This assembly is listed by Ecoflam under part number 65322418.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner locks out repeatedly and will not establish a stable flame
- Flame shape or stability is visibly poor, with lift-off or pulsation at the head
- Soot deposits or heavy carbon build-up around the firing head
- Visible distortion, cracking or burning of the head components
- Combustion readings that cannot be brought within range by normal setting up
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model is a Maior P 60 AB or Maior P 80 AB
- Check the existing head assembly against the part number 65322418
- Verify the burner has been isolated and the fuel supply shut off before removal
- Check the blast tube and nozzle seating for damage while the head is removed
