What it is

The Ecoflam Ionization Cable TL = Long Head is a flame ionisation lead for Ecoflam gas boilers. It connects the ionisation probe to the burner control box so the control can detect flame presence and keep the burner running safely. This long-head version measures 1800mm.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler locks out shortly after the burner lights
  • Burner fires, then shuts down once the flame signal is lost
  • Intermittent lockouts that clear after a reset
  • No flame signal indicated at the control box even though the burner is lit
  • Heat damage, cracking, or a loose connection at either cable end
