What it is
A time clock cable supplied by Ariston for use in its CLAS ONE, CLAS System ONE, E-Combi ONE and E-System ONE boiler ranges. The cable connects the boiler's time clock to the control PCB, carrying the switching signal that allows the appliance to run to a set programme.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler ignores its set time programme and only runs on continuous demand.
- The time clock loses its settings or resets when the appliance is powered.
- Heating or hot water fails to switch on at the programmed times.
- The cable shows visible damage, scorching or a broken conductor at either terminal.
- The clock display powers up intermittently or not at all.
