What it is
The Ariston 65116580 gas valve cable is the electrical connection lead that links the gas valve to the boiler's control PCB. It carries the control signal that opens and modulates the gas valve during ignition and firing. The cable is supplied by Ariston for use across the Alteas ONE NET and Genus ONE appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire or drops out shortly after ignition, with the gas valve not receiving a control signal.
- Intermittent ignition faults that clear when the cable or its connectors are disturbed.
- Fault codes relating to the gas valve or flame detection appearing on the boiler display.
- Visible damage to the cable: cracked insulation, scorched or brittle sheathing, or a broken conductor.
- Loose, corroded or heat-damaged terminals at either end of the lead.
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above before ordering.
- Inspect the existing cable and both connectors to confirm the fault lies with the lead rather than the gas valve or PCB.
- Check the routing and length of the existing cable so the replacement follows the same path clear of hot surfaces.
- Isolate the appliance electrically and close the gas supply before any work on the gas valve circuit.
