What it is
The Ariston 65114924 is a motor and spring kit for the three-way valve used on a range of Ariston gas boilers. The motor drives the diverter valve between heating and hot water positions, with the spring returning the valve to its rest position. It is supplied by Ariston as a serviceable assembly for the valve head.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water while the heating continues to run, or heating that will not come on while hot water works
- The valve head does not move when demand changes between heating and hot water
- Boiler locks out or faults when switching between heating and hot water modes
- The actuator runs continuously or is audibly straining without changing valve position
- Radiators heating when only hot water is demanded, or the reverse
