What it is
The Ariston 65112082 is an NTC temperature probe used on Ariston Kairos MACC cylinders. It provides the temperature signal the cylinder control uses to monitor stored water temperature. The probe is a negative temperature coefficient type, so its resistance falls as the sensed temperature rises.

- Hot water temperature reads noticeably higher or lower than the set point
- Cylinder temperature display fluctuates or jumps erratically
- Control reports a sensor or probe fault code
- Cylinder fails to heat, or overheats, because the control is receiving an incorrect temperature signal
