What it is
The Ariston 65109673 is a main heat exchanger used in Ariston ACO series gas appliances. It transfers heat from the combustion circuit to the domestic water or heating circuit, depending on the appliance type. It is the primary heat transfer component within the appliance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water leaking from the heat exchanger body or its connections
- Reduced heating or hot water output despite correct appliance operation
- Kettling, banging or overheating noises from the exchanger
- Repeated system pressure loss requiring frequent topping up
- Visible corrosion, scale build-up or deformation on the exchanger
Before you order
- Check the appliance data badge to confirm the model and GC number match the fit list
- Confirm the fault is with the heat exchanger and not the pump, diverter valve or another component
- Verify part number 65109673 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Assess system water quality and consider flushing before fitting to protect the new exchanger
