What it is
The Ariston 65104653 is a spark generator used in Ariston gas boilers. It supplies the high-voltage spark that jumps across the ignition electrode to light the burner. It sits within the boiler's ignition circuit and is listed under ignition units in the gas boiler spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler attempts to fire but there is no spark at the ignition electrode
- Repeated lockouts on start-up with the fan and gas valve operating normally
- A weak, intermittent or irregular spark that fails to light the burner reliably
- No audible sparking from the ignition circuit when a demand is present
- Ignition faults that persist after the electrode and its lead have been checked
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
- Check the part number on the existing spark generator matches 65104653
- Inspect the ignition electrode and lead for damage or contamination before replacing the spark generator
- Verify the fault is in the ignition circuit rather than the gas or flame sensing side
