What it is
This is a plastic cover with an integrated neon lens, manufactured by Ariston for its EP series electric water heaters. It fits over the indicator area on appliances produced from October 2006 onwards. The neon lens sits over the indicator lamp so the operating status remains visible through the cover.

- The plastic cover is cracked, split or broken
- The neon lens is missing, loose or detached from the cover
- The lens is discoloured or clouded, making the indicator hard to read
- The cover no longer clips or sits securely in position
