What it is
The Ariston 65103205 is a trap plug used on Ariston ACO series gas boilers. It seals the condensate trap assembly on appliances built from July 2005 onwards. The plug retains the trap contents and prevents condensate escaping from the trap body.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water or condensate weeping from around the trap plug
- Condensate pooling inside the boiler casing beneath the trap
- Visible cracking, distortion or hardening of the plug
- The plug no longer seats or seals correctly after removal and refitting
- Gurgling or drainage noise from the trap area during operation
