What it is

The EEPROM module kit is an Ariston memory module supplied for the Microgenus II range of MFFI UK wall-mounted boilers. It carries the stored configuration and operating parameters used by the appliance's control electronics. The kit is fitted where the boiler's memory module requires replacement, including after certain PCB work.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to run correctly after control board or module work
  • Stored settings or parameters are not retained by the appliance
  • Fault codes relating to the control module or memory appear on the display
  • The boiler will not complete its start sequence despite a sound PCB
  • Combustion or operating parameters cannot be set or held
