What it is
The Ariston 65100688 is a reset button used on Microgenus and Microgenus II gas boiler ranges. It is the manual control the user presses to clear a lockout and return the boiler to normal operation. The button forms part of the boiler's control interface.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The reset button no longer latches or clicks when pressed
- The button is stuck in the depressed position and will not return
- The boiler will not clear a lockout when the button is pressed
- The button is cracked, broken or missing from the control panel
- The button feels loose or fails to make contact with the switch behind it
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
- Check the condition of the button and the switch it operates before ordering
- Verify the part number 65100688 matches the number on your existing component
- Check that the fault is the button itself and not a separate lockout cause
