What it is
The Ariston 64990896 is a propane gas injector with a 5.55 mm bore, manufactured by Ariston. It controls the flow of propane (LPG) into the burner, and the injector bore sets the gas input the burner receives. It is a service component for Ariston appliances set up to run on propane.
Before you order
- Confirm the bore marked on the existing injector, or the figure given in the appliance technical data, matches 5.55 mm.
- Check the appliance is configured for propane (LPG) and not natural gas, as the two use different injectors.
- Cross-check the part number 64990896 against the appliance documentation or data badge.
- Injector replacement involves work on a gas-carrying component and must be carried out by a competent, registered gas engineer.
