What it is
The Ariston 64201338 is an ignition electrode supplied with a gasket. It forms part of the ignition circuit on Ariston Genus Premium EVO HP appliances, where the electrode provides the spark that lights the burner. The gasket seals the electrode mounting point against the combustion chamber.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to ignite, with no spark at the burner
- Repeated lockouts on start-up that clear only after several attempts
- Visible cracking, crazing or carbon tracking on the electrode ceramic
- Electrode tip eroded, distorted or heavily sooted
- Gasket perished, brittle or showing signs of leakage at the mounting point
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is one of the Genus Premium EVO HP variants listed above
- Check the existing electrode and gasket condition before removal so the fault is correctly identified
- Verify the part number 64201338 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Isolate the gas and electrical supply before any work on the ignition circuit
