What it is
The 6 Pole Cable Connector CN12 is an electrical connector supplied by Sime for use within its domestic boiler range. It provides a six-way plug connection between wiring looms and boiler components on Brava SLIM and Murelle PRO appliances. It is fitted where a secure, multi-core plug connection is required.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Intermittent or total loss of boiler operation traced to a loose plug connection
- Visible scorching, discolouration or a brittle housing on the connector
- Corroded, bent or retracted terminals inside the plug body
- Wiring loom plug that no longer latches securely into its socket
- Repeated faults on circuits fed through the six-way connector
Before you order
- Confirm the existing connector carries the CN12 reference and has six poles
- Check the boiler model against the fits list before ordering
- Inspect the mating socket and loom wiring for damage that may also need attention
- Refer to the manufacturer's appliance documentation for the correct connector location
