What it is
The Buderus GASKET - BURNER PLATE, part number 63012883, is a sealing gasket fitted at the burner plate on Logano PLUS SB735 boilers. It seals the joint between the burner plate and the boiler body, preventing flue gas and heat from escaping at that face. The gasket is matched to the SB735 range and should be replaced when the joint is disturbed or the seal has degraded.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible hardening, cracking or brittleness in the gasket material
- Soot staining or heat discolouration around the burner plate joint
- Flue gas smell or leakage at the burner plate face
- Gasket compressed or bonded to the mating surfaces after long service
- Reassembly of the burner plate after servicing
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above, as the SB735 range covers several output variants
- Check the part number shown on your boiler documentation or on the existing gasket
- Inspect the burner plate and boiler face for corrosion or pitting before refitting
- Replace the gasket whenever the burner plate joint is broken
