What it is

The Sime 6278370 is a premix burner for Sime Murelle PRO HE condensing boilers. It mixes gas and air ahead of the burner surface so combustion takes place across the burner head. It is a service part for the Murelle PRO HE range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Repeated ignition lockouts or flame failure faults
  • Unstable or lifting flame across the burner surface
  • Soot deposits, discolouration or heat damage on the burner head
  • Combustion readings drifting outside the expected CO and CO2 range
  • Increased combustion noise when the burner fires

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and GC number from the appliance data badge
  • Check the burner variant matches your appliance, as the range includes natural gas and LPG models
  • Confirm the existing burner's condition and combustion readings before replacement
  • Reassembly and commissioning must be carried out by a competent gas engineer
