What it is
The Sime 6274124 is a 7.00 mm burner injector for natural gas appliances. It meters the gas supply into the burner so the flame is established at the correct rate for the appliance. It is used across a number of Sime boiler models, including the Dewy, Format and Murelle families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Yellow or lazy flame instead of a crisp blue flame
- Sooting or blackening around the burner or heat exchanger
- Boiler fails to ignite or locks out repeatedly
- Uneven flame pattern across the burner
- Combustion readings drifting outside tolerance
Before you order
- Confirm the diameter marked on the existing injector is 7.00 mm
- Confirm the appliance is set up for natural gas, not LPG
- Check your boiler model against the fit list above
- Check how many injectors your burner assembly requires
